A Hat Shop for Teller County
I've spent my career in accounting, but a hat shaper popped up on my Instagram feed one day, and something clicked. I couldn't stop watching — I wanted to know everything, from crown shapes to brim styles to how the old Western films got theirs just right.
I live in Florissant, just down the road from Cripple Creek — a real gold-mining town where the Chamber of Commerce still walks Bennett Street dressed as sheriffs and madams, and the summers are packed with festivals. There's nothing like a western hat shop here, and I want to be the one to bring it.
Weathered Brim starts with me showing up where the community already gathers — local rodeos, festivals, and events — while I build toward a storefront right on Bennett Street.
